Warranty Policy — Waterproof Phone Pouch
Our Warranty
The Kovapak waterproof phone pouch is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase, under normal use.
This warranty covers:
- Stitching, seal, or closure defects present upon receipt
- Premature waterproofing failure that does not result from misuse
- Material defects (cracked plastic, faulty zipper, etc.)
Proof of purchase may be required to process your claim. Please keep your receipt or order confirmation.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
- Normal wear and tear (marks, discoloration, loss of material flexibility over time)
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, cuts, punctures) that does not affect waterproofing
- Misuse: improperly locked closure, unclean seal, exposure to chemicals or solvents, use beyond the depth or immersion time indicated on the product page
- Damage caused by accident, impact, fire, or other external cause
- Any unauthorized modification of the product
- Lost or stolen items
This warranty covers the pouch itself. It does not cover the electronic device placed inside it: Kovapak does not reimburse the value of a phone damaged by water intrusion, regardless of the cause.
How to File a Claim
- Email us at contact@kovapak.com with a photo of the defect and your proof of purchase.
- We will respond within 3 to 5 business days.
If your claim is approved, we will repair, replace, or refund the product, at our discretion, subject to stock availability.
If the product needs to be returned to us for inspection, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, including when the defect is confirmed.
Purchases from an Authorized Reseller
If you purchased your pouch somewhere other than kovapak.com, please check the reseller's return policy first. If you are unable to obtain an exchange or refund directly, you may submit a claim to contact@kovapak.com with your proof of purchase. Products purchased from unauthorized resellers are not covered.
Your Rights Under Consumer Protection Law
This warranty is in addition to the legal warranty provided under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, which protects any goods sold against hidden defects and guarantees they will serve their normal intended use for a reasonable period, regardless of what is stated above. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
